Theme Description
The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing substantially in the equity securities of companies that are leaders in their industries/segment of industries, and which the managers believe are suitable for a buy-and-hold strategy.
Theme Policy
The Fund will invest predominantly in Large cap and large Mid-cap company shares. The portfolio will be sector agnostic. The Fund maintains a concentrated, high conviction portfolio consisting of companies which are believed to be undervalued relative to their growth prospects. The Fund will typically invest in the shares of fewer than 40 companies. The Nifty 50 Index is a point of reference against which the performance of the Fund may be measured.
Portfolio Construction will be driven by fundamental, bottom-up research on large, established companies that meet our criteria of:
- Growth : Our team focuses on companies with the potential to produce sustainable earnings and cash-flow growth.
- Quality : We seek high-quality companies with strong management teams and financial strength.
- Valuation : We assess whether the growth opportunity is already reflected in the stock price.
KSEMA Multi Cap Value Strategy
Theme Description
The fund seeks superior returns over long term by investing in high growth-oriented stocks that are sector agnostic.
Theme Policy
The Fund will invest upto 50% in Large cap,upto 40% in Mid-cap company shares and upto 10% for special situation opportunities. The Fund maintains a concentrated, high conviction portfolio consisting of companies which are believed to be undervalued relative to their growth prospects. The Fund will typically invest in the shares of fewer than 45 companies. The Nifty 500 Index is a point of reference against which the performance of the Fund may be measured.
Portfolio Construction of the core segment will be driven by fundamental, bottom-up research on established multicap companies that meet our criteria of:
- EPS growth ( 5yr CAGR) > 1.5x GDP growth
- ROCE > 15%
- Good Governance standards; Balance sheet strength; capital allocation; vision for growth; promoters stake
- Valuation reasonably comparable to peer set.
